中国演艺设备技术协会成立于1991年,是由中华人民共和国文化部主管、具有社会团体法人资格的国家一级社会组织，是中国演艺设备行业具有权威性的代表组织，主导协调着全国演艺设备行业的经济技术的发展。国家民政部组织的中国社会组织评估等级，我协会荣获最高等级——“5A”级全国性行业协会荣誉。

    中国演艺设备技术协会拥有单位会员1300余家（截至2011年3月），遍布全国各地，均为演艺设备行业从事科研、生产、经销、工程的单位，汇集了大量专业音响、专业灯光、舞台机械、中西乐器、音视频、场馆设备等专业的优秀企业；有140余位个人会员，均为来自各级文化单位、艺术院校、演出团体、科研机构、骨干企业的教授、专家、知名人士、高级工程技术人员等。

    中国演艺设备技术协会在新时期的方针和目标是：在邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想指导下，按照科学发展观和构建和谐社会的要求，求真务实，改革创新，在全行业中实施科技化、标准化、规范化战略；实施产品品牌战略；引领全行业由大到强发展，使演艺设备行业成为我国现代化建设中一个充满生机与活力的产业。

    中国演艺设备技术协会本着“为会员服务，为行业服务，为社会服务”宗旨，开展了多项业务活动，包括：主办“中国国际专业音响•灯光•乐器及技术展览会”、“中国国际演艺设备与科技论坛”、“全国演艺设备技术信息交流、贸易洽谈会”；主办《演艺科技》杂志；开展“演艺设备工程企业综合技术能力等级评定”、 “演艺设备行业优质产品评定”、 演艺设备行业个人资质评定、 技术咨询服务、技术培训工作；制定行业标准、编制技术专著等。

    协会按地域成立12个地区组，以会员需求为出发点，通过开展丰富多彩、具有地区特色的活动，为广大会员服务。

    协会下设：演出场馆设备专业委员会；北京《演艺科技》杂志社、北京演艺展业广告有限公司、北京艺海智典工程咨询有限公司。

Brief Introduction to China Entertainment Technology Association

    Founded in 1991, China Entertainment Technology Association (CETA) is a national first-class social organization as a legal person in the charge of the Ministry of Culture, People's Republic of China, and an authorized representative in the entertainment equipment industry of China, leading and coordinating the economic and technical development of the national entertainment equipment industry. CETA was elected as " China's Class 5A Social Organazation" in 2009, also was elected as "China's Advanced Social Organization ", "2009 Excellent Social Organazation ".

    CETA now has more than 1300 unit members throughout China, who are the units engaged in scientific research production, distribution and engineering for the entertainment equipment industry, covering a large number of outstanding enterprises specializing in pro-audio, pro-lighting, Chinese and western musical instruments, stage machinery, venue equipment, etc. There are 133 individual members, who are the professors, experts, and senior engineering and technical personnel, etc., from cultural units at all levels, art institutions, performing troupes, scientific research institutions and leading enterprises.

    Since its establishment, CETA has carried out a number of activities and formed fairly complete work system: organization of "China International Exhibition on Pro Audio, Light, Music & Technology", "China International Entertainment Technology Summit" and "CETA Members Information Exchange and Business Forum”;creation of the magazine Entertainment Technology and establishment of its website; development of industry technical standards, arrangement of "Evaluation of the Technical Grades of Theatrical Equipment Enterprises", "Quality Product Assessment for the Entertainment Equipment Industry", "Professional skills and qualifications assessment for individuals in the industry", and provision of technical training and technical advisory services; organization of member regional group activities and management of the members.

    The policy and objective of CETA in the new era are: under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping's Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", adhering to scientific outlook on development and building a harmonious society, implementing two strategies throughout the industry and achieving one objective, namely, implementing the industry technology-based, standardization and regularization strategy and implementing the product brand strategy; aiming to build the Chinese entertainment equipment industry into a new hi-tech, group-based and international industry. In this way, the entertainment equipment industry will become an industry full of vigor and vitality in China's modernization process.

    We will achieve the following strategic objectives in five to ten years:
    A first-class trade association;
    A first-class international professional expo;
    A first-class industrial technology journal;
    A first-class technical work organization system and work system;
    A first-class member team.
