中国演艺设备技术协会经常组织中外专业技术交流、技术讲座、技术培训等活动。
中外技术交流活动促进了国际先进理论与技术在国内的传播，也推动了国内演艺设备生产企业、工程企业技术能力的提高。
CETA always organizes technical
exchanges with its counterparts from abroad, technical lectures, and technical trainings.
The technical exchanges accelerate
the dissemination of international advanced theory and technology, and the lectures
and trainings hasten technical advancement of domestic manufacturers and enterprises.

协会致力于提高行业从业人员的专业素质，举办了内容丰富的专题讲座，并邀请业内知名的专家学者主讲。
CETA offers opporunities which can expand practitioners's knowledge of entertainment
technology. CETA conducts traning courses for many times, and invites famous experts
to give lectures. |

2004年7月30日，美国娱乐服务与技术协会（ESTA）技术标准主任Karl G. Ruling先生、纽约大学舞台美术系主任Martha S. LoMonaco女士应邀来京举办学术讲座。

2004年5月29日，越南文化通讯部派代表团参加第二届中国国际演艺设备与科技论坛，并与协会建立友好交流关系。
On May 29, 2004, delegation of Vietnam Ministry of Culture Communication attended
The 2nd China Internatinal Entertainment Technology Summit. And they established
a good relatinlship with CETA.

On March 12, 2006, the member institutions of the Beijing branch of CETA held a
workshop on optimizing deployment of sound-amplifying system and engineering technology
