中国演艺设备技术协会（原中国文艺演出物资协会）成立于1991年，由中华人民共和国文化部主管，是中华人民共和国具有社会团体法人资格的一级社会团体，是中国演艺设备与器材行业的权威代表，她主导协调全国演艺设备与器材行业经济技术的发展。协会现有800多家会员单位和众多个人会员，个人会员云集了行业内的知名专家、学者。会员遍布全国各地，均为演艺设备与器材行业从事科研、生产、经销、工程的单位，不少是专业音响、专业灯光、中西乐器、舞台机械、场馆设备等专业的著名企业，形成了覆盖全国的市场网络。
    中国演艺设备技术协会先后与欧、美、亚几十个国际性行业商会、行业协会、工业集团建立了交流协作关系，得到很多国家政府的文化主管部门、驻华使馆文化官员的大力支持，并与国外同行建立了紧密的合作联系。在国内，协会建立的文化交流网络与中央和地方各级文艺演出团体、文艺演出场馆、文化艺术院校、文艺科研院所、文化活动中心有着密切的联系。
    中国演艺设备技术协会将高举邓小平理论和"三个代表"重要思想的伟大旗帜，按照可持续发展和科学发展观的要求，全面实施演艺设备行业科学化、标准化、规范化战略，开展创建和推广民族品牌产品的工作，推动企业向集团化、高科技化、国际化方向发展，使演艺设备行业成为我国现代化建设中一个充满生机与活力的产业。

China Entertainment Technology Association (CETA) was established in 1991, under the super vision of the Ministry of Culture, People's Republic of China. As a legal person, it is a national first class public organization and an authorized representative in the entertainment technology and equipment industry of China. CETA is responsible to coordinate the economic and technical development of national entertainment technology and equipment industry and now represents more than 800 members and a lot of personal members nationwide. They are the best and brightest in the technical research, manufacture, sales and engineering in the filed of entertainment technology and equipment, covering reputed enterprises in pro-audio and lighting, Chinese and western musical instrument, stage machinery, and stadium & gymnasium entertainment equipment and forming a national market network.
China Entertainment Technology Association established cooperative relationships successively with more than 10 international trading commercial chambers, trading associations and industrial groups under the great support of cultural authorities of many foreign governments and cultural officials from their embassies in Beijing. Domestically, the cultural network founded by CETA is connected closely with the central and local artistic performance groups at all levels, performance stadiums and gymnasiums, cultural and artistic colleges and universities, artistic research institutes and cultural activity centers.
  Holding high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping's Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", with the strategy of sustainable development and scientific view of development as our guidelines, CETA is doing its best to implement the scientific standardization strategy and build and popularize national brands. It will also make efforts to indoctrinate the enterprises with the concepts of collectivization and internationalization so that entertainment industry will be full of vitality.
